Housing Allocations

Housing Allocations Development Plan Document and the Community Environment and Economy Development Plan Document

In light of the changes to the planning system at the national level, the Council is no longer producing a Core Strategy, Housing Allocations DPD and Community, Environment and Economy DPD. It has moved towards implementing the Government’s approach to development plans, changing from the production of the ‘Local Development Framework’ to a ‘Local Plan’. The Local Plan will cover strategic policy, land allocations and more detailed development management policies.

 

Previous work, in terms of evidence and consultation response, will shape the content of the Local Plan. Previous information relating to the Housing Allocations DPD including further sites submitted is available below.
